Choristership

A day in the life

Catering solely for choristers, we manage the daily timetable entirely around their needs

To be a chorister is arguably the best possible musical education for boys of this age. The Abbey choristers sing in the Abbey five or six days a week during term time, and this remarkable experience is the very thread around which everything else in school operates.  It provides a natural rhythm to life.  Academic lessons, instrumental studies, activities and sports and much needed playtime are all arranged to dovetail seamlessly so that each boy can develop his particular talents and interests within a sympathetic structure.
